Connecting your domain name (or buying one)

Your website works from day one on a .mongitedirect.fr address. Your own domain is better: it is
yours, it is memorable, and it follows you if you leave.
Choosing and buying
Use the name of your property. Avoid multiple hyphens and wordplay: it will be dictated over the phone. Buy it from any registrar for about ten euros a year, in your own name, and switch on auto-renewal straight away.
Connecting it
Send us the name; we give you the two records to create at your registrar and handle the rest. The security certificate installs itself. Allow between an hour and two days for the change to spread, during which your old address keeps working — there is no interruption.
Afterwards
The old address redirects to the new one, so the links you have already given out keep working. Update the address on your listings, your Google profile and your cards.
